Addis Ababa, June 25, 2026.- The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the African Union, Lucas Domingo Hernández Polledo, held a productive meeting with His Excellency Tebelelo A. Boang, Ambassador of the Republic of Botswana to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union (AU) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
During the cordial exchange, both parties discussed issues related to bilateral relations between Cuba and Botswana. They also exchanged views on opportunities to further strengthen the bonds of friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment to maintaining a fluid dialogue and deepening collaboration in multilateral forums, particularly within the framework of the African Union, for the benefit of common interests and the strengthening of the historic relations between Cuba and African nations.
