Ambassadors make courtesy visit to the Embassy of Madagascar in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, January 16, 2025.- The ambassador-designate to the African Union, Lucas D. Hernández, after his arrival in Ethiopia, began courtesy visits to the African embassies accredited to the country.

Hernández visited the Head of Mission of the Embassy of Madagascar in Addis Ababa, Eric Randriamandrato, with whom he exchanged on issues of bilateral and multilateral interest.

 The Cuban diplomat thanked his Malagasy counterpart for his country's support in the fight against the blockade of Cuba, as well as the position taken on the resolution presented by the African Union on this issue at its 37th Summit.

The Cuban Ambassador-designate to Ethiopia, Meylin Suarez, accompanied Ambassador Hernandez during the visit.
