Kuwait, November 28: The Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Cuba, Alain Pérez Torres, was received by H.E. Nawaf Abdullateef Sulaiman Al-Ahmed, Assistant Foreign Minister for America.
During the meeting, the good state of bilateral ties and cooperation between both countries was reviewed, while the will to work for the strengthening of relations in sectors of mutual interest was ratified. The Ambassador reiterated the gratitude of the Cuban government to his Kuwaiti counterpart for the historic support of Kuwait to the Cuban resolution of the Economic, Commercial and Financial Blockade imposed by the United States.
For his part, the Kuwaiti diplomat offered the new Ambassador his support and that of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the performance of his duties.
