The performance of the Cuban group Jóvenes Clásicos del Son at the Gabala Music Festival in Azerbaijan was highlighted by more than a dozen Azeri media.
The press reflected the virtuosity of the musicians of the largest of the Antilles with which they managed to captivate the interest of those attending the event.
Invited by the Geidar Aliyev Foundation, the group Jóvenes Clásicos del Son performed for all those present at the gala and the viewers who watched the concert through a national broadcast, Cuban traditional music and Cuban son variants like changüí, la guaracha , the rumba and the bolero, with influences of jazz and funk.
The media emphasize that the Cuban septet is the creator of an unmistakable timbre and an original style that has allowed him to share stages with renowned figures of Cuban and world music and participate in numerous international festivals.
In the X Festival of Music of Gabala, held during the first half of this August, musicians and groups from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Israel, USA, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Cuba participated.
