Bangladesh reaffirms its solidarity with Cuba.

The Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and the Bangladesh Youth Union (BJU), members of the National Movement of Solidarity with Cuba in that country, sent statements of solidarity with the Cuban people, as a result of the recent external pressures and attempts to distort the Cuban reality and discredit the Revolution and its leaders.

Both organizations denounced and demanded the immediate lifting of the unjust economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the government of the United States against our country, as well as the removal of Cuba from the spurious List of State Sponsors of Terrorism.

Bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Cuba, established on January 25, 1973, have been based on friendship, solidarity, respect and cooperation.
