Alejandro Simancas, Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bhutan, held an emotional meeting with young Bhutanese graduates in Cuba in the fields of medicine and engineering. The meeting held in the capital city of Timbu, where these young people are now working as professionals, was a meeting of friendship and solidarity. They recalled with affection their years of studies in Cuba, to which they thanked for giving them this opportunity and for being able to contribute now to the social development of their country.
The Ambassador expressed to them that they were true symbols of the ties of friendship between Cuba and Bhutan and that it was a great satisfaction to see them now working in their country as true professionals. This small group is part of the more than 15 Bhutanese who have graduated in Cuba, mainly in the field of medicine.
