The Embassy of Cuba in Canada celebrated the 71st Anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, with the participation of organizations in solidarity with Cuba, Cuban residents and other friends of our people.
During the event, the Cuban Ambassador to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca recognized the importance of this date for our Revolution, since these events contributed to the maturing of political consciousness and served as inspiration for the revolutionary struggle. He also thanked the solidarity movement in Canada for its unconditional support. The space was propitious for several members of friendly organizations to express words of gratitude and to recall the date, while condemning the blockade imposed by the US against our people and the arbitrary inclusion of Cuba in the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
Music was also the protagonist of the evening, where its exponents delighted those present with songs allegorical to the date.
