Addis Ababa, September 10, 2024.- The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Cuba in Ethiopia, Natalys Dinza held a meeting with the Director General for America and Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, ambassador Zenebe Kebede.
The meeting held at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry was conducive to exchange on issues of interest to both countries in the bilateral and multilateral spheres.
The Director General highlighted the ties of friendship between the two countries while highlighting Cuba's position in the defense of issues related to Ethiopia in international forums.
Kebede underscored Ethiopia's unwavering position in defending Cuba's struggle to end the economic, commercial and financial blockade that has been applied to it by the U.S. government for more than six decades.
For her part, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy, thanked Ambassador Zenebe for the opportunity to exchange on topics of interest, while highlighting the willingness to continue working to strengthen bilateral relations in different spheres.
Dinza took the opportunity to convey a congratulatory message to the Foreign Ministry on the occasion of the upcoming celebration of the Ethiopian New Year.
