Addis Ababa, November 30, 2024. The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Cuba in Ethiopia, Natalys Dinza Utria, participated in the closing ceremony of the fifth anniversary of the Prosperity Party.
The event took place at the Adwa Victory Memorial Museum in Addis Ababa in the presence of the country's ruling party president and prime minister, Abiy Ahmed.
Present were, among others, the Deputy Prime Minister and Vice President of the ruling party, Mr. Temesgen Truneh, the head of the Coordination Office of the Democracy Building Center with the rank of Deputy Prime Minister and Vice President of the party, Mr. Adem Farah, the Speaker of the House of People's Representatives, Mr. Tagese Chafo, the Speaker of the Chamber of Federation, Mr. Agegnehu Teshager, senior party and government officials and the diplomatic corps accredited in the country (according to the party's information published on its social media page).
During the last few days, the occasion has been celebrated with round tables, renovations of homes for disadvantaged people, blood donations, mass sports, cleaning of the city and other activities.
