The chief minister of the Indian state of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, received on Saturday the Cuban Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas Marin, to whom he ratified his willingness to strengthen bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation, while expressing his interest in paying a visit to Havana.
For his part, the Cuban diplomat expressed his gratitude for the expressions of solidarity received from the government and people of Kerala and reaffirmed that relations with this state reflect the historic and close ties between Cuba and India.
During the meeting, the different opportunities for collaboration in the sectors of health, sports and traditional medicine of Ayurveda were also evaluated, aspects on which both parties are already working on their progress.
