From Monday 26 June BIOMETRIC PASSPORT issuance will enter into force for Cuban citizens set in Austria, Croatia, and Slovenia.
For this reason, from that date on, the issuance request of a new Passport will only be executed as PERSONAL PROCEDURE, then, the presence of the passport´s holder will be indispensable as in situ fingerprints, photos, and other documents will be required. That data will be registered in the new document which meets the highest international standards.
This means that POST SERVICE passport issuance request will NOT be accepted.
This information is only applicable to the new passport issuance requests that will be submitted from 26 June.
IT WILL NOT BE NECESSARY TO REPLACEcurrently in force passports, they will retain their value.
