The Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto participated in the annual activity of Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) Logan Kanapathi with his community in Markham

The Consul General was able to exchange with Ministers Raymond Sung Joon Cho of Seniors and Accessibility, Stephen Lecce of Energy and Mines, and Michael Parsa of Children, Community and Social Services, who visited Cuba's booth. He also shared with MPP Laura Smith and Chris Nearing, Markham Fire Chief.

During the activity, Cuba was promoted as a tourist destination, especially by the Tourism Counselor Lessner Gómez and the representative of the Muthu" hotel chain.

The activity took place in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where the foreign community in the town of Markham had the opportunity to exchange with each other. In addition, a cultural moment was enjoyed where dances and martial arts demonstrations of the multicultural heritage of the members of this city were offered.
