Port of Spain, January 13, 2025. The Cuban ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, Gustavo Veliz Olivares, was received at the headquarters of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) by its Secretary General, Ambassador Noemí Espinoza Madrid.
During the cordial meeting, they exchanged views on the Association's work prospects for the current year and the preparations for the XXX Ordinary Meeting of the Council of Ministers and the X Summit of Heads of State, scheduled to take place in May in Cartagena de Indias.
The Ambassador reiterated Cuba's commitment to the work of the Association. The Secretary General expressed gratitude for Cuba's ongoing support and confirmed her interest in visiting Cuba on the occasion of the VI Conference "For the Balance of the World," to be held from January 28 to 31.
