In the framework of the Budapest Water Summit held from 15 to 17 October, 2019 in that city, the MoU for Cooperation in the field Integrated Management and Sustainable Water Resources between the National Institute for Water Resources of the Republic of Cuba and the Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism of Austria was signed.
The heads of delegations of Cuba and Austria, Antonio Rodríguez; Chairman of the National Institute for Water Resources and Günter Liebel; Deputy minister for Sustainability and Tourism, respectively, welcomed the conclusion of the document and highlighted the importance both sides assign to cooperation in the field of integrated sustainable, fair and environmental-friendly water resources management.
The signing of the new document reaffirms the willingness of continuing strengthening economic, commercial and cooperative relations between Cuba and Austria.
