Cuba and Burkina Faso reaffirm their friendship and solidarity in a diplomatic meeting

Addis Ababa, August 11, 2026.- Cuba's Ambassador to the African Union, Lucas Domingo Hernández, and Cuba's Ambassador to Ethiopia, Meylin Suárez, held a fruitful exchange with the Ambassador of Burkina Faso, His Excellency Mr. Elysé Ouedraogo, in a meeting marked by the friendship, solidarity and mutual respect that characterize the relations between both peoples.

During the meeting, the historic bonds of friendship and cooperation between Cuba and Burkina Faso were reaffirmed, as well as the willingness to continue strengthening bilateral ties and exchange within the framework of the African Union.
