Cuba and Croatia strengthen their relations at the highest level

On the occasion of the visit as Non-resident Ambassador paid by His Excellency Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios, Ambassador of Cuba to the Republic of Croatia, to the capital of this European country; he was received at the President´s Office by the Chief of Protocol, Mrs. Tina Todtling, with whom he held a cordial meeting.

The Cuban diplomat was the bearer of a message from the President of the Councils of State and Ministers of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bemúdez, addressed to Her Excellency Mrs. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, President of the Republic of Croatia, in which he thanked the President for the message of congratulations received on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution and reiterated the will to continue strengthening relations between both countries in all sectors and the exchanges of high-level visits.  

It was an appropriate occasion to highlight the results of the meeting held between the Presidents of both countries in the framework of the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly.  

Cuba and Croatia maintain diplomatic relations for 27 years and historical bonds of friendship and cooperation.
