Beirut March 11, 2020. At the headquarters of the Ministry of Health of the Lebanese Republic, Minister Hamad Hassan received the Ambassador of Cuba, Alexander Pellicer Moraga.
At the meeting was ratified the interest in establishing mutually beneficial cooperation mechanisms in the health sector and the production of medicines. The possibility of exchanging experiences between professionals from both nations was also analyzed.
The Cuban representative made a comprehensive explanation about the health system in Cuba and about the high development achieved by the island in the field of biotechnology and vaccine production, and stressed that the Cuban experience could be of interest to Lebanon in its will to improve the health system in the country.
