Cuba and Lebanon Strengthen Multilateral Ties
Ambassador Jorge P. León Cruz was received by the Director General for Multilateral Affairs of Lebanon’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Mr. Salim Baddoura, and the two held a productive meeting in which they reviewed the excellent state of bilateral and multilateral relations between the two countries.
The Cuban diplomat took the opportunity to express his gratitude for the solidarity and support shown by governments, parliaments, organizations, political forces, and the international community in support of the Cuban people’s struggle against the blockade, the energy blockade, and threats of military aggression against Cuba.
During the meeting, the positive prospects and mutual willingness to continue coordinating efforts in multilateral forums and international events were confirmed, and the interest and commitment to further deepen mutually beneficial ties between Cuba and Lebanon were reaffirmed.
