Addis Ababa, August 15, 2024.- The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Cuba in Ethiopia, Natalys Dinza, met with the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of South Sudan, Ambassador Boutros Thok Deng, at the headquarters of the South Sudanese Embassy in Ethiopia.
During the meeting, both diplomats exchanged on issues of regional and bilateral interest, while reaffirming the good relations between the two countries, as well as the will to maintain them.
Ambassador Boutros thanked Cuba for its cooperation, in particular, in the training of young doctors and highlighted their work in the development of community programs in the southern Sudanese regions.
The Cuban diplomat praised South Sudan's support for the elimination of the blockade on Cuba, as well as in multilateral forums and events.
