The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba deeply appreciates the many messages of solidarity and support conveyed by friends from India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan to the Cuban people, in view of the pain and anguish caused by the fire at the Matanzas supertanker base.
Members of the National Cuba Solidarity Committee in India, the All India Peace and Solidarity Organization (AIPSO), the Indian Society for Cultural Cooperation and Friendship (ISCUF), the Friends of Latin America in India (FOLA), the National Federation of Indian Women (NFIW), the Indian Economic Trade Organization (IETO), the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), as well as other members of the Cuba Solidarity Committee in Nepal, extended their condolences and support to Cuba for the explosions that caused casualties and material losses to the country.
These expressions of solidarity demonstrate the spirit of brotherhood, friendship and cooperation that unite our peoples.
