Cuba congratulates the Government and people of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on the occasion of its Independence Day. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, conveyed a cordial message of congratulations to their counterparts, His Excellency Mr. Mohammad Abdul Hamid, President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and His Excellency Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen, Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Cuban leaders extended their warm congratulations and reiterated their willingness to continue working towards strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation that unite both countries.
