New Delhi, December 22, 2021. Cuba congratulates the Kingdom of Bhutan on the occasion of National Day. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez sent a message of congratulations to the Honorable King of Bhutan, His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, ratifying the will to continue working for the strengthening of friendly relations that unite both peoples.
The Third Secretary of the Cuban Embassy in India, Malena Rojas Medina, delivered the message in a cordial meeting held with the Second Secretary, Mr. Kinley Namgay, of the Embassy of Bhutan in India. During the exchange, they also discussed pending issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla also conveyed congratulations to his counterpart, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan, His Excellency Dr. Tandi Dorji.
