Cuba deposited today the instrument of ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty.

New York, 4 February 2021. By signing and ratifying today the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT), Cuba reaffirms its commitment to nuclear disarmament and to the complete and effective ban on all nuclear tests, including nuclear explosions, subcritical tests and other sophisticated methods. With this action Cuba reaffirms its condemnation of the proliferation of subcritical tests and the increase in expenses to improve such tests. It also supports the closure and dismantling of all facilities used for such purposes and their associated infrastructure. Cuba is a State Party to the main international instruments on weapons of mass destruction or mass extermination, such as the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW), the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), the Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Latin America and the Caribbean (Treaty of Tlatelolco), the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC).   Follow the link: http://www.minrex.gob.cu/en/cuba-deposited-today-instrument-ratification...
