Cuba was selected as the "Most Promising New Destination" at Asia's leading travel fair, OTM, held in the Indian city of Mumbai, Maharastra state, from February 8 to 10. The award was received by Elizabeth Cristina Vela, the Tourism Counselor for Asia, during a closing session of the Fair. Also present were Abel Aballe Despaigne, Chargé d'Affaires of the Cuban Embassy in India, as well as representatives of Cuban travel agencies Havanatur and Cubatur.
