Cuba extends its congratulations to India on the occasion of Republic Day.

The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent his congratulations to H.E. Smt. Droupadi Murmu and H.E. Narendra Modi, President and Prime Minister of the Republic of India, respectively. On the occasion of the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of India, the Cuban President extended cordial congratulations to them, while reaffirming the will to continue working for the development of bilateral relations, in accordance with the historic ties of friendship that unite the two countries. 

Likewise, the Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, conveyed a message of congratulations to his counterpart H.E. Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister, in which he extended his best wishes for the welfare and prosperity of the Indian people and ratified, in the same way, the will to continue strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation in the different areas of interest for our countries.

India celebrates Republic Day, the date on which it commemorates the coming into force of the Constitution on January 26, 1950, the culminating moment in its independence process.
