Cuba participated in the International Documentary Film Festival in India.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in India, Alejandro Simancas Marín, attended the awards ceremony of the 10th International Documentary Film Festival, organized by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), the Film Federation of India (FFI) and Marwah Production Studios.

As part of the event, the India-Cuba Cultural Forum was launched, which will contribute to promote cultural links and enhance opportunities for collaboration between the two countries. Also, the documentary "El Punto Cubano", a musical genre included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2017, was screened.
