Cuba participates in the celebration of Chinese Language Day in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, April 16, 2026.- Cuban Ambassador to Ethiopia, Meylin Suárez Álvarez, participated in the celebration of Chinese Language Day, organized by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Ethiopia and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA).

The event included cultural presentations, traditional artistic performances, as well as audiovisual displays and exhibitions that highlighted the richness of the Chinese language.

Cuba's participation in this commemoration underscores the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Caribbean nation and the People's Republic of China, as well as Cuba's commitment to multilingualism and the promotion of cultural diversity within the United Nations.
