Cuba participates in conference on environment in the Indian city of Chandigarh.

The Cuban Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas Marin, participated in the International Conference on Environmental Diversity and its Jurisprudence, a National and International Perspective". The Conference, held at the Institute of Legal Studies of the University of Chandigarh, was also attended by the Vice President of India, Venkaiah Naidu, and the Governor of the State of Punjab, Banwarilal Purohit.

The Ambassador was received by the main authorities of the University, with whom he agreed on the will to strengthen cooperation relations in the field of higher education and scientific research.
