The Hague, March 4, 2026. Cuba participates in the Hague Group's conference on "Accountability and Strengthening International Law," which is being held this Wednesday at the World Forum convention center in this Dutch city.
With the participation of representatives from 39 states, the meeting, convened by the Republic of South Africa and Colombia, countries that co-chair the Group, aims to coordinate concrete collective actions on accountability and the application of international law in light of the serious situation in Palestine.
Attendees will discuss how to stop the Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people, prevent the continued impunity of the perpetrators of atrocious crimes, and preserve international law as the only means of safeguarding international peace, security, and justice.
The Hague Group was established in January 2025. Cuba is a founding member.
