The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in India participated in the 1st Edition of the Latin American Carnival 2024 held in Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh, organized by the Bangladesh Travel Writers Association with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country.
Cuba was represented with the film "The Eye of the Canary" by filmmaker Fernando Perez and was screened at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka. The film was very well received by the audience. The screening was an opportunity to continue bringing the peoples of both nations closer through the so-called seventh art, and to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation.
The festival program included the screening of films, the exhibition of books and photographs, as well as samples of the culture of about seven Latin American countries.
