Cuba participates in Seminar on Business Opportunities in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in India, Abel Aballe Despaigne, participated in the Seminar "Exploring Business Opportunities in Latin American & Caribbean Countries", organized in Delhi by the Millennium India International Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (MIICCIA). 

The meeting, chaired by the president of MIICCIA, Ambassador Anil Trigunayat; and the Additional Secretary for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Indian Foreign Ministry, J.V Srinivas; was attended by Ambassadors and diplomats of the Latin American and Caribbean Missions accredited in India, as well as officials of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and representatives of various industries in India.

In his intervention, the Cuban diplomat highlighted Cuba's favorable conditions for foreign investment and the synergies between the economies of Cuba and India for trade and investment, as well as Cuba's favorable conditions for the establishment of new businesses for both the domestic and regional markets. Particularly highlighted were the opportunities in sectors such as tourism, mining, biopharmaceutical industry, renewable energy, food industry and electric vehicles. The diplomat also held bilateral exchanges with companies in these sectors present at the event.
