Mumbai, India September 30, 2016.- In response to an invitation by the organizers of the VII Jagran Film Festival, Marileydis Dueñas Morales, Deputy Chief of Mission and counsellor at the Embassy of Cuba in India attended the awards ceremony (applicable only to Indian movies) in the seventh Jagran film Festival. This activity was held in the city of Mumbai, on 30 September, where Cuba was elected this year the country focu.
The opening of this festival started in Delhi last 1rs of July and was attended by the Ambassador of Cuba in India. H. E. Oscar Martinez Cordovés Oscar. This festival, then traveled from the capital through Kanpur, Lucknow, Allahabad, Varanasi, Agra, Meerut, Dehradun, Hisar, Ludhiana, Patna, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Raipur, Indore, Bhopal and finally in Mumbai. This makes it geographically the largest film festival in India.
In the festival were screens films across genres from around the globe. In the case of Cuba It could be appreciated the following 9 documentaries and films

A unique feature of JFF is that the cast and crew of a few selected films are invited to a discussion with the audience on various elements of the film to generate a discussion on the various aspects of Cinema and its impact on society and popular culture. (Embacuba India).
