The Jeunesse en Acción Festival takes place in Quebec City during the last two weekends of August. This year marks its third edition, offering a cultural experience to young people with music, entertainment, shows, games, and food, all in a festive atmosphere. Cuba was present among the exhibitors of various nationalities. The Cubaneando project, led by Anays Ford, had a booth to show attendees a little piece of Cuba and its natural beauty.
This festival is a community event to celebrate diversity and create a festive atmosphere for families. Artistic performances from around the world were on stage. A Cuban artist couldn't be missed, wowing festivalgoers with a young singer who performed the international hit "Guantanamera" and the bolero "Lágrimas Negras." The Quebecois and Haitian audiences congratulated and applauded him for his performance.
