The Consulate General of Cuba, along with other Latin American consulates accredited in Toronto, participated in the Latin Fair to highlight Cuban culture, Hispanic heritage, and cultural diversity in Canada.
As usual, members of the Cuban community spread their joy to many of the attendees, who, despite the high temperatures, joined in the dancing and participated in our traditional games.
Cuba was promoted as a safe and cultural tourist destination, both at our stand with the presence of the tourism section and the representative of the Muthu hotel chain, and at a separate stand where representatives of the Cuban company ARTEX and the Canadian company Design Travel participated.
Oscar Vigil, executive director of the Hispanic Heritage Council of Canada (HCHC) and coordinator of the Fair, highlighted the outstanding work and projection of the Cuban representation.
