Cuba ratifies in Lebanon historical support to the Palestinian cause

Ambassador Jorge León Cruz, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Palestine, Ashraf Dabour, where it was confirmed that Cuba reiterates the urgent need to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, based on the creation of two States, allowing the Palestinian people to exercise their right to self-determination and to have an independent and sovereign State within the pre-1967 borders and the right of return of Palestinian refugees.

During the meeting, both sides welcomed the close relations between Palestine and Cuba and advocated continuing to work for their strengthening.
