Addis Ababa, August 14, 2026.- The Ambassador of Cuba to the African Union, Lucas Domingo Hernández Polledo, held a fruitful exchange with His Excellency Mr. Youssouf Mondoha Assoumani, Ambassador of the Union of Comoros to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union.
During the meeting, both diplomats emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen relations and exploring new avenues for cooperation in the current international context. They also agreed on the need to deepen political dialogue, expand areas of collaboration, and promote initiatives that contribute to strengthening ties between Cuba, Comoros, and the peoples of Africa and the Caribbean, in a spirit of solidarity, mutual respect, and cooperation.
