The First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkmenistan, Vepa Hajiyev, received at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, who thanked the support of this Central Asian nation for the resolution of the Island against the US blockade.
Also, the Turkmen vice chancellor reiterated his nation's position in this matter and valued cooperation in the multilateral sphere as very important.
The meeting also exchanged the historical bilateral ties and the political will of both governments in their strengthening and diversification.
During his stay in the Turkmen capital, the ambassador completed an intense program of meetings with representatives of the government and commercial, sports, educational and social entities of the country.
