Cuba will defend its periodic report 2018-2023 before CERD in Geneva.

On 23 and 24 April, Cuba will defend its periodic report (2018-2023) before the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) in Geneva, in fulfilment of its obligations as a State since 1972 under the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.

The report is the result of joint work by institutions, agencies and organizations linked to the "Color Cubano" National Program to Combat Racism and Racial Discrimination, together with civil society representatives and in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
