Cuban afternoon organized by the Breast Prosthesis Foundation

Den Dungen, February 2, 2025. The Dutch Foundation “Breast Prosthesis” organized a Cuban afternoon, as a contribution to the promotion of the culture of the Caribbean island in the Netherlands.

The evening featured a combined performance by Cuban and Dutch artists, who delighted participants with several pieces from the traditional Cuban repertoire and a mix of musical rhythms that included cha, cha, cha, bolero, salsa and merengue.

The Embassy of Cuba was present at the cultural afternoon and exchanged with attendees about Cuban cultural history, including the bolero, recently inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Heritage List.
