Cuban Ambassador attends events in Liberia commemorating the 80th anniversary of the United Nations

In Margibi county, various large-scale activities took place where the diplomatic corps interacted with residents and local authorities to jointly celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations.

The Cuban Ambassador, Dr. Indira López Arguelles, was present at these events, expressing the Cuban people's profound respect for international law and multilateralism, and their gratitude to the UN agencies that have supported the island since its accession as a member state, particularly in the demand for an end to the US embargo, a demand that is voiced widely in the United Nations General Assembly and with the active solidarity of nations.
