Cuban Ambassador to Canada met with Greg Fergus, Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada.

Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, Cuba's ambassador to Canada, was received today by Greg Fergus, Speaker of the Canadian House of Commons, the country's main legislative authority.

In a cordial atmosphere, both figures exchanged on the good state of bilateral relations, which will reach their 80th anniversary in 2025. The occasion was also propitious to address the existing potentialities to promote bilateral ties, especially in economic and commercial matters and between the Parliaments of both countries.

Dany Tour de la Concepción, Deputy Head of Mission, and Mariset Vazquez Lissabet, Second Secretary, participated on the Cuban side.
