Addis Ababa, February 19, 2026.- The Ambassador of Cuba to Ethiopia, Meylin Suárez, received Mr. Nebiyu Sihul, Director General of the International Relations Directorate of the Ethiopian Prosperity Party, on a courtesy visit.
During the cordial meeting, both parties discussed ways to enhance inter-parliamentary relations and strengthen ties between the Communist Party of Cuba and the Ethiopian Communist Party. In this context, they highlighted the high-level visits made last year by Cuban representatives, as well as the meetings held with top officials of the organization.
The dialogue reaffirmed the mutual commitment to continue expanding political cooperation and consolidating the historic bonds of friendship and solidarity between Cuba and Ethiopia.
