Addis Ababa, March 3, 2025.- The Ambassador of Cuba to Ethiopia, Meylin Suárez Álvarez, was received this afternoon by Ambassador Abraham Mengistu, deputy director of Europe and America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia. During the meeting, both parties exchanged on various issues of bilateral and multilateral interest, reaffirming the willingness to strengthen the historical ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Also present at the meeting were the Director of South America and the Caribbean of the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry, Mr. Demissew Kebede, and the specialist in charge of Cuban affairs, Haregwa Haile. On the Cuban side, the third secretary in charge of political affairs of the embassy, Natalys Dinza, also participated.
The meeting made it possible to address key issues on the bilateral agenda, including cooperation in strategic sectors and coordination in international forums. Both sides stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen political dialogue and cooperation for the benefit of both peoples.
