Cuban Ambassador exchanges on cooperation in traditional Indian medicine.

Cuban Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas, was received by Pramod Kumar Pathak, Special Secretary of the Ministry of Ayush of India, a government agency responsible for the development and implementation of the system of traditional Indian medicine, which includes Ayurvedic medicine, yoga, homeopathy, among others.

The Cuban diplomat extended an invitation to the Minister of Ayush, Sarbananda Sonowal, to participate in the upcoming IV International Convention "Cuba-Health 2022" and in the XV Trade Fair "Health for All" to be held from October 17 to 21, 2022, Havana. In addition, he explained about the attention given by the Cuban health system to the natural medicine program and in particular the work developed by the Panchakarma Center, located in the International Health Center "La Pradera", inaugurated in 2019 with the support of India, which he thanked.

During the meeting, they ratified the interest in deepening cooperation for the development of Ayurvedic medicine in Cuba, improving the training of Cuban specialists and extending it to the branches of research.
