Nassau, February 6th, 2023. Fulfilling an invitation from the directors of the San Pedro International School in Nassau, the Cuban ambassador Julio César González Marchante, held a dialogue on the Cuban Revolution with 12th grade students, in the turn corresponding to the history class.

A group of Cuban teachers residing in the country work at the educational Center and there is a tradition of joint work with the Diplomatic mission. The students of that Center have regularly participated in contests and tributes to José Martí.

The students and the professor of the subject exchanged with the Ambassador about transcendental moments of the country's history. They were particularly interested in learning about Cuba's contribution to the liberation of African countries in their fight against apartheid and about the economic, commercial and financial blockade that the US government imposes on our people.

It was also significant that they highlighted the contribution that the Cuban people have made to the world in terms of education and health, and especially to The Bahamas.
