The sacred month of Ramadan has begun for the Muslim faithful of the world. It is also a propitious moment longed for by the friendly #Kuwaiti people to show one of their historical and cultural treasures: the celebration of their "Diwaniyas", a kind of meeting and encounters where they debate, talk and strengthen relationships.
During the sacred month of Ramadan, you visit friends, family, colleagues and even people you don't know but who keep the doors of their house open to receive anyone who wishes to visit their homes to wish them peace, wisdom, health and love.
The Embassy of Cuba feels it is an honor to have a presence at the Diwaniyas as a sign of respect and recognition towards the Kuwaiti people and their leaders.
Today we had the privilege of visiting the Diwaniya of the former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Hamad Al-Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, a good friend of #Cuba.
