Cuban ambassador holds meeting with leader of the Bloc Québécois

Cuba's ambassador to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, visited the Honorable Yves-François Blanchet, leader of the Bloc Québécois.

During the meeting, they discussed the current international situation and the effects of the US blockade against Cuba.

Ambassador Malmierca thanked Canada, and in particular the Bloc Québécois, for its historic position in support of the Cuban people.

Also present at the meeting were the Honorable Gabriel Ste. Marie, co-chair of the Canada-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group, and the Deputy Head of the Cuban Mission, Dany Tur de la Concepción.
