Juba, March 21, 2024. Cuban Ambassador to South Sudan Jorge Lefebre Nicolás, during his visit to Juba on the occasion of his presentation of credentials, held meetings with former South Sudanese students who graduated in Cuba.
The occasion was propitious for the former students to receive information related to various topics of interest on the socio-economic development of Cuban events. In this context, Ambassador Lefebre ratified Cuba's willingness to continue its actions of solidarity aimed at educating and training young Africans in its universities, as part of its foreign policy and solidarity with African countries.
Lefebre delivered and signed the assignment slip to two new young who will begin their medical studies in the coming month of September in Cuba.
The Cuban diplomat asserted to Prensa Latina that the affection for Cuba was not only evident in the graduates, but also in every South Sudanese who knew of his presence in that city.
