The Cuban Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas, visited, together with members of the Latin American and Caribbean diplomatic corps, the state of Goa, located on the western coast of India and characterized by being one of the main tourist centers of the country. During the visit, the Ambassador exchanged with the Chief minister of Goa, Pramod Sawant, to whom he reaffirmed the desire to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between both countries, and spoke about the areas of greatest prospects for commercial and economic exchange, particularly with the state of Goa. Likewise, he participated in a meeting at the state Chamber of Commerce along with its main directors. He also visited the Ayurveda medicine institute, an area in which Cuba and India are working to expand collaboration.
