Cuban ambassador invited to the opening ceremony of the University of Liberia

With the university year about to begin, the faculty of the University of Liberia invited Cuban Ambassador Dr. Indira López Arguelles to be the guest of honor at the opening ceremony.

In addition to referring to the cruel US blockade of Cuba and its harmful effect on the normal functioning of classes and learning at universities in Cuba, the diplomat also addressed current issues for teachers and students on the island, in Liberia, and globally.

Ambassador López Arguelles expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to share the reality of Cuba and to exchange ideas with Liberian educators.
